Here are quick tips to help you fight your relationship with your refrigerator and food.
It took me a long time to figure out how to find peace with food. I have developed some tricks to help change the way you approach food. These simple eating strategies can help you decrease stress by giving you energy, cut unwanted calories, and help you balance your food intake and take control of your relationship with your refrigerator.
1. Make a seven-day food calendar and write down everything you put in
your mouth. Make a box or note when you eat standing up.
2. Now see if you do the following things, hopefully you say yes to each point.
I eat breakfast every morning.
I try to minimize my intake of "white" food. (Cookies, ice cream, cake,
rice, etc.)
3. I do not stand up and eat.
4. I do not clear my plate.
5. I am the last one to finish my meal.
6. I do not eat after 9:00pm.
7. I workout three to four times a week for almost an hour.
8. I like to vary my food choices.
9. I eat and I feel satisfied at the end of the meal.
10. I never eat to stuffed.
11. I eat anything I want in moderation, and love buffets!
